Engineering Ahead

The Engineering Ahead Program is a collaborative ‘Engineering Your Future’ initiative designed to encourage young people to explore careers in the engineering fields.

Students will explore careers in engineering from Fabricators and Mechanical Fitters to Civil and Electrical Engineering, experience TAFE Gippsland taster days, opportunities for Industry immersion as well as a one week work experience element.

Program Launch: 20 March 2024

TAFE Gippsland Trade Taster: 24 May 2024

Industry Tour (AGL/Alinta): 7 June 2024

Gippsland Tech School: 21 June 2024

TAFE Gippsland Trade Taster: 19 July 2024

Federation University Taster: 30 July 2024

Industry Tour: 16 August 2024

Graduation: September 2024
