Intro
Hi! My name is Cath Beaufort. I work at Alfred Health and I’m based at Latrobe Regional Hospital in Traralgon. My role involves running the day-to-day operations of a Radiation Oncology Centre. I have a background as a Radiation Therapist, treating cancer patients with high energy x-rays on machines called Linear Accelerators, as well as planning their treatment using CT images. While I don’t treat the patients anymore, I oversee the department to ensure our patients receive high quality radiation therapy every time.
